Answer a short survey and the app configures itself for your business — people, payroll, books, scheduling, customers, all of it — and a real person can help with setup if you'd like a hand. And every subscription comes with a free business website — built, hosted, and maintained at no extra charge. Build yours from the survey and step inside a preview of it first — you only pay when you're ready to switch it on.

Turning the website on comes with a 12-month minimum membership commitment, starting at activation — the app itself stays month-to-month with no auto-renew. Your domain comes from 3 options we find for you: available names that most closely match your business and make sense for it — you pick the one you like. How it works →
Your back office, built up steadily — one brick at a time.
Your AI team already checked the overnight numbers.
Startups and small businesses — teams of up to about 30 people — taking their first step into AI, with help getting set up. No IT department, no consultant charging thousands to set you up, no enterprise-priced software stack: the setup survey does the configuring, and a real person can help with setup.
This is not enterprise software. If you have thousands of employees and an IT department, this isn't built for you — it's built for the small businesses competing against companies that do.
Here's the pattern we found, over and over, in shops, trades, restaurants, and non-profits:
5–7 tools
The typical small organization runs five to seven disconnected subscriptions — one for scheduling, one for books, one for payroll, one for customers — and re-types the same information into each.
$175–$600/mo
That's what the stack adds up to for a roughly ten-person organization — before the per-user and per-module charges that grow every time you hire or add a feature.
AI = add-on
Texting your customers is paywalled. The AI help is a separate bolt-on with its own price tag — when it's offered at all. The tools were built for companies with an IT department.
Two worked examples, one location, using the vendors' own published plan prices for the same jobs BrickBuilt covers in one app: payroll, scheduling, books, customers, a website, and email & documents — bought separately.
ABOUT 5 PEOPLE · 1 LOCATION
Plus payroll at $9.99/person/mo when you run it — about $49.95 for five people. Pass + payroll together: about $109.94/mo.
ABOUT 10 PEOPLE · 1 LOCATION
Plus payroll at $9.99/person/mo when you run it — about $99.90 for ten people. Pass + payroll together: about $199.89/mo.
The stack still leaves the tools disconnected. Each one above is its own login, its own bill, and its own copy of your people and customers — nothing is shared between them, so the same information gets typed in again and again. BrickBuilt is one app and one login, where scheduling, payroll, books, and customers all work from the same records.
Stated plainly, our payroll line: BrickBuilt payroll runs $9.99/person/mo when you run payroll — the licensed partner's cost passed through plus a small margin, the same figure shown in the pricing section below. It's counted in the pass + payroll totals in each card above, not hidden under the pass price.
Prices from the vendors' published pricing pages, checked November 2026 — plans and prices change; the survey comparison on this page always uses your own numbers.
From $29.99/mo
One app for the whole back office — people, payroll, books, scheduling, customers, documents — with the AI team built into every plan, not sold back to you as an upgrade.
Traditional software sells you an implementation project — and asks for payment up front. BrickBuilt asks questions instead, assembles itself from your answers, and lets you step inside the result before a pass is ever mentioned. Payment comes last: it switches on the app you've already seen.
Already in business? Start with a free lookup: with your permission, an AI search reads what's already public about your business — its website, Facebook page, and Google listing — in the background while you answer, labels everything with where it came from, and shows it to you to confirm or correct; nothing is final until you say so. Starting something new? You start blank. Either way, a short survey follows: what you do, how many people, whether you book appointments or run crews or take donations, what you use today, who's in charge. No card, no payment — this comes first. There's a spot in the survey to add your own logo, too.
The survey switches the right modules on, sets your terminology — jobs or appointments, clients or parishioners — applies your branding, and pre-fills your setup paperwork. Then step into the working demo and use it: every screen, sample data you can actually work — add a record, move an appointment, approve an invoice — so you see exactly what you'd be getting before you're asked for a thing.
Like what you see? Pick your pass — Launch, Grow, or Scale — and the app you've been working in switches on for real work: saving your data, sending messages and invoices, running payroll. Until you activate, it stays a working demo on sample data — nothing you do there is saved or sent — and you're charged nothing. No contract, and no auto-renew: each month is yours to renew or not.
The survey opens in its own window and walks you through it one step at a time — nothing to answer here on the page. Start with the free business lookup, then questions about your team, your register, your suppliers, the words you use, and what eats your time — and watch a sample app configuration assemble itself from your answers. Sample data only. Software that actually saves you money: tell the survey what you pay for tools today, and the savings are figured from your own numbers — skip it, and no savings figure is shown at all.

Changed your mind? Tap “I have an existing business” above for the free lookup.
This sets up logins and who sees what — owners see everything, managers see their areas, staff see their own slice. The choices here follow the team size you just gave — a 30-person team isn't run by an owner alone.
These set the order your app tackles automations at setup — your biggest time-drains go first, and they lead your configuration summary.
Your app connects to it through its own official sign-in — sales and the books stay in step.
Your supplier accounts connect the same official way, so reorders and deliveries land on one board.
You order from suppliers but didn't pick Inventory & ordering — add it? It tracks what you have, flags what's running low, and keeps reorders in one place.
If you do, your app connects it through Microsoft's own official sign-in — email, calendar, files, and spreadsheets in step with everything else.
Your app uses your words everywhere — screens, messages, invoices. The first one is the usual word for your kind of business; pick another if your place talks differently.
A simple site is included free with every pass. Deeper options are one-time extras — this just tells us what to build first; nothing is priced or committed here.
Interest only — this never prices or commits you to anything. It just tells us what to have ready.
Schedule changes, approvals, low stock — reminders ride the channel each person actually reads. Push is the base for app users; text covers anyone without the app.
Already have a brand color? Pick it — your app and your included website wear it.
Drop your logo here, or browse for it. It will appear at the top of your app and on your website, invoices, estimates, and customer messages.
PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP — a transparent background works best. No logo yet? Skip this step: your business name and initials are used instead, and you can add a logo any time in Settings → Branding.

Your initials show for now. Add your logo on the left and it appears here — and across your app, website, invoices, and estimates.
Badged items came from your public listing, website, or social pages — you confirmed them in Step 0, and you can change them any time.
Step inside this app ↓ — open the working demo below and try it hands-on. No payment asked.
Software that actually saves you money — that comparison, when it appears, is calculated above from the amount you volunteered in the current-tools question and the recommended pass price. Your numbers, not a marketing claim.
This is the app your answers above just built, and it works: add a record, move an appointment along, approve an invoice — everything responds, on sample data. Open every screen in the menu and try the day on for size. This is what you'd be buying — shown working, not described.

Here's your build, carried straight from your answers. Activation starts from exactly this — nothing to re-enter.
That's your back office, built from your answers — and you've already worked in it. Activating a pass turns this exact app on for real work — your data, your customers, your team.

Employee records, roles and logins, hiring paperwork, and a first-week plan for every new hire.
Shifts, appointments, or services on one calendar — and when someone can't make it, the open spot is offered to the next person by text.
Hours flow in from scheduling; the payroll engine (on Grow and Scale) runs pay, taxes, and filings through licensed partners.
Income, expenses, invoices, and bills in categories that match how your business actually spends — always current, never a shoebox.
The year organizes itself as you go: categorized totals, 1099s, donor statements for non-profits, and a clean handoff for your accountant.
Scan paper with the phone camera; it files itself under the right person, job, or customer — receipts, contracts, certificates, all searchable.
Stock counts with par levels. Run low and a reorder suggestion is waiting — order, and the delivery lands on one tracking board.
Messages, questions, and reviews in one place. The AI drafts the routine replies; anything sensitive stays a draft until a person approves it.
Quotes built from your real prices and, where your trade has them, its codes and standards — sent, tracked, and converted to jobs on approval.
A real website for your business comes with the pass — and Manage Website lets you update it three ways: fill in the fields (details, hours, services, About, contact/social, colors, optional logo), text a change in plain words, or speak/type to the AI assistant, which prepares it for preview and publish. Photos too: upload, replace, assign to pages, and caption them.
Assistants that watch for what needs attention, draft the routine work, and learn your business's wording — included at every tier, never an add-on.
One list, on every home screen, of what actually needs a human today — approvals, expirations, low stock, unanswered customers. Nothing slips quietly.
Add your own logo in the setup survey or any time in Settings → Branding. Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP and it appears on your app, your included website, invoices, estimates, and customer messages. No logo yet? Your business name and initials stand in until you add one.
Your accounts stay yours. Connections are made through each service's own official sign-in.
We never ask for your passwords. You sign in on the provider's own page and grant access — and you can revoke it there any time.
Most businesses pay for a website on top of everything else — a build fee, a hosting bill, a maintenance retainer. Here, you get a free web page for your business with your subscription: a simple website and its upkeep are part of the pass you already have, at no extra charge.
One fair condition: turning the website on comes with a 12-month minimum membership commitment, starting the day the site is activated. We build, host, and maintain it for you — and that first year is what makes that possible. The site stays up only while that commitment is being honored, and any months you lapse during the year don't count toward the 12. The app itself stays month-to-month with no auto-renew — the commitment is only about the website.
Up to about 5 pages, built in your business's own branding — your name, your colors, your wording, and your logo. Add your logo in the setup survey or in Settings → Branding and it goes on the site automatically:
And it isn't a dead brochure. The forms are wired straight into your back office:
Changed your hours? Added a service? Raised a price? You don't file a ticket or pay a web person to change a line of text.
Edit your own site by text anytime, free, for as long as you're a member. Send the change the way you'd text anyone, and your site reflects it — that's part of the included maintenance, not a billable extra.
We find available domain names that most closely match your business — as close to your business name as availability allows, and ones that make sense for it — and present you with 3 options to pick from. You choose; no homework, no registrar maze.
The domain itself is at cost — about $15/yr — passed through with nothing added. If you want a more exact or premium name outside those 3 options, you pay only the cost difference.
Website support is included during Year 1. If something's wrong with the site, or you need a hand with it, that's covered.
After Year 1, your own text edits stay free — and if you'd rather we just do an update for you, a done-for-you update is $24.99 per update. No retainer required.
You are never waiting on a web person. In Manage Website, inside your back office, you pick whichever way is easiest in the moment — all three land in the same place, and you preview before anything goes live.
Plain labeled fields for everything a customer looks for. Change a field, preview, publish — no code, no ticket.
No login, no form. Text the change the way you'd text anyone and it's applied for your preview:
The hours on your site update to match, ready for you to preview and publish. Your own text edits are free for as long as you're a member.
Speak it or type it to the AI assistant in Manage Website, in plain language:
Your About text, in your words.
Whichever way you make a change — fields, a text, or the AI — it shows up here as a preview first. Publish is always your tap.
Add and manage the pictures on your site from the same Manage Website screen. Upload a photo, replace one, or remove one — then assign it to a page and give it a caption. Your photos of your work, your shop, and your team — not stock pictures.
Anything beyond the simple included site is an optional extra — quoted from this list, never sprung on you. You only pay for the ones you actually add.
All extras above are one-time, except complex-site care, which is monthly. Payment-processor fees are separate: payments run through your own processor account, passed through at the processor's rates and never marked up.
The fair term, in plain words — here is exactly what happens if a pass isn't renewed:
Every pass includes the full core, the AI team — and a free business website, built, hosted, and maintained at no extra charge. The difference between passes is how much of the heavy machinery — payroll, volume, locations — your business needs.
LAUNCH
$29.99/mo
For solo operators and brand-new businesses getting organized.
GROW
$59.99/mo
For established businesses with a team to pay and customers to keep.
SCALE
$99.99/mo
For bigger teams, multiple locations, and organizations like churches and non-profits.
Every pass comes with a free website. A simple website for your business — build, hosting, and maintenance included at no extra charge on Launch, Grow, and Scale alike, for as long as your subscription is active — with a 12-month minimum commitment that starts when you turn the website on (the app pass itself stays month-to-month with no auto-renew). The fair terms, up front: it's our standard simple layout (about five pages) built with your branding, content, logo, and photos — custom or complex features are separate one-time extras. For the domain, we find the available names that most closely match your business and make sense for it and present 3 options for you to pick from; the domain itself is at cost (about $15/yr), and a specific or premium name outside those 3 is charged at the cost difference. Your own text edits are free, too. See how the included website works →
No auto-renew. Ever. Your pass runs for the month you bought. When it ends, you choose to renew — we will never quietly charge a card because a date passed. No contract, no cancellation maze.
Payroll runs on Grow and Scale through licensed payroll partners — they handle tax filings and deposits; the Payroll Center gathers your hours and runs the show. Launch includes payroll prep, so upgrading later loses nothing.
On-site setup bills travel at cost plus a quoted day rate, agreed before anyone books a flight. Most businesses never need it — the survey does the heavy lifting.
Your pass already includes the operational foundations, and they are not add-ons: role-based logins and manager views for every department, the manager calendar that rolls everything up in one place, and your website and its Website Starter. In the restaurant configuration, the food-expiry system and the breakage log are included too. An add-on exists only where a feature brings real standalone value of its own — or carries a real usage cost on our side, like advertising tools and payroll processing.
Scale already includes 2 locations — the extra-location add-on covers locations beyond that. Payroll is priced per person on purpose: the engine's cost is passed through plus a small margin, so payroll is never bundled into — or diluted by — your pass price, no matter how your team grows.
Pilot prices during Early Access, charged per location. The Online Orders Hub brings your delivery channels onto one board; Catering & Events runs a booking end to end — food lists scaled by headcount, staffing, rentals, and the day-of run sheet. The food-expiry system and breakage log stay included in the restaurant configuration — they're foundations, not add-ons.
"Need something beyond the menu? Additional features can be priced out on request with a custom quote — the menu is never the ceiling."
Owners live in the full app. Employees get exactly their slice of it — or nothing to install at all.
The full back office in your pocket — scan documents, approve drafts, check the day from anywhere.
The same app, the same data — nothing your Android-using crew can do that your iPhone crew can't.
A downloadable desktop app for the office computer — the back office belongs at the desk, too, not just in a browser tab.
Employees who don't want another app don't need one: schedules, shift offers, and call-ins all work over plain text messages.
Including the honest one about where things stand.
BrickBuilt is in Early Access: the product is in active development, and its first customers — founding customers — are joining now. Everything on this page is what the product does; signing up through the Join Early Access button below joins the Early Access list and isn't a finished-product checkout. Founding customers are the first onboarded as their configuration opens, and their feedback shapes the product as it's finished.
Neither — for the app itself. You buy a monthly pass; when the month ends, you decide whether to renew. There's no contract to escape, no renewal charge you didn't approve, and no cancellation phone call. Your data stays exportable either way. The one exception is the included website: turning it on carries a 12-month minimum membership commitment — see “Is there a commitment for the website?” below.
Yes — fully. Your records, your customers, your books. Export them any time, and your data is never sold and never used to train AI models. Connected accounts (QuickBooks, email, carriers) are authorized through the providers' own sign-ins, and you can revoke access there whenever you like.
Plainly: the tax and payroll filings run through licensed partners whose whole job is getting them right — the same way a payroll bureau works. What BrickBuilt does is everything around that: gathering hours, keeping the books categorized all year, preparing statements and 1099s, and queuing what needs a human's eyes before anything is filed or sent.
Plenty is yours to toggle any time — modules, notifications, terminology, branding, reminder timing. Bigger changes — switching configuration, restructuring, migrating data — are admin-assisted, so a person helps you do it right. And the built-in feedback panel means the changes you wish existed go straight to the team building the product.
Three ways, in Manage Website — use whichever is easiest: (1) fill in the default fields yourself — business details, hours, services, About text, contact and social details, brand colors, and an optional logo upload; (2) text in a change in plain words; or (3) speak or type to the AI assistant, which prepares the change for you to preview and publish — nothing goes live without your preview. Photos work the same way: upload, replace, or remove a picture, assign it to Home, About, Services, Team, or Gallery, and add a caption. Your own text edits are free for as long as you're a member.
Yes. There's a dedicated logo spot in the setup survey, and you can add, replace, or remove your logo any time afterwards in Settings → Branding. Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP — a transparent background works best — and your logo appears on your app, your included website, invoices, estimates, and customer messages. It's optional: if you don't have a logo yet, your business name and initials are used instead, and nothing is held up waiting for one.
Yes — that's the order of things. The setup survey comes first and costs nothing: answer it, and your app builds itself from your answers. Then you step inside a working demo of that exact app — every screen, your terminology, your modules — running on sample data you can actually work: add records, move appointments along, approve an invoice draft, and it all responds. Nothing in the demo is saved or sent. What it won't do is touch the real world: sending messages and invoices, running payroll, and publishing your included website all unlock when you activate a pass. There's no separate free trial of the live product — working the demo is free, and your first paid month (no auto-renew, ever) is the real thing.
Nothing, if you use the survey — self-setup is included in every pass, and the app builds itself from your answers. If you'd rather a person walk it with you, assisted setup is a one-time fee by business size (currently proposed at $99 / $199 / $349), and on-site setup is quoted with travel at cost.
Yes — with your permission, an AI search reads your business's website, Facebook page, and public listings (like your Google listing) in the background while you answer the survey, and presents what it finds — address, phone, hours, services, links — each labeled with where it came from, for you to confirm, edit, or remove before anything is used. Where sources disagree, it asks you which is right rather than guessing. It never asks for passwords: account-level Google or Facebook information is connected only through the official sign-in flow. Starting a new business instead? There's nothing to look up — you start blank, and skipping the lookup changes nothing.
Yes — every pass (Launch, Grow, and Scale) comes with a free business website: the build, hosting, and ongoing maintenance are included at no extra charge, and there is no separate website bill. Three fair terms come with it, stated plainly. The layout: it's our standard simple layout — up to about five pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, Careers) — built with your branding, content, logo, and photos, its contact form wired into your inbox and its careers form into onboarding; custom or complex features (an online store, checkout, ordering, booking) are optional one-time extras, priced plainly in the website section. The domain: we find available names that most closely match your business and make sense for it — as close to your business name as availability allows — and present you with 3 options to pick from; the domain itself is at cost (about $15/yr) and always yours, and a specific or premium name outside those 3 is charged at the cost difference only. The term: the site is included while your subscription is active — with one fair condition: turning the website on comes with a 12-month minimum membership commitment, starting the day the site is activated. We build, host, and maintain it for you, and that first year is what makes that possible; the app itself stays month-to-month with no auto-renew. Once those 12 months are satisfied, if a membership ends, reminders come first, the site comes down at the end of the paid period, and a 14-day grace window lets you renew and restore it exactly as it was (or export your content). You can edit the site yourself by text, free, any time — or through the fields and the AI assistant in Manage Website.
Yes — one, and it's only about the website. Activating the included website starts a 12-month minimum membership commitment. The site is built, hosted, and maintained only while that commitment is honored, and any months you lapse during the commitment year don't count toward the 12 — the year is 12 months of active membership, not 12 calendar months. After the 12 months are satisfied, the normal lifecycle applies: expiry reminders, the site comes down at the end of the paid period if you don't renew, then a 14-day grace window to renew and restore it exactly as it was (or export your content) before the files are permanently deleted. Your domain always remains yours — you paid for it at cost. And to be clear about what the commitment is not: the app pass itself stays monthly with no auto-renew and no contract — the 12 months attach only to turning the website on.
It follows a clear sequence, with no surprises. First, expiry reminders fire before your paid period ends. Your included website stays live while your membership is active — if it isn't renewed, hosting and maintenance end and the site comes down at the end of the paid period. Then a 14-day grace window follows: renew inside it and the site is restored exactly as it was, and during the window you can also export your site content if you're leaving. After those 14 days, the website files are permanently deleted. Your domain name stays yours either way — you paid for it at cost.
